FAQs

Q?

Do I need permission?

A.

Tree Preservation Orders (TPO): possibly, it is best to telephone your local councils tree officer to check if your property has any TPOs. We can do this for you if requested.

Q?

Should I notify my neighbours?

A.

Yes please! Tree surgery is often noisy and on occasion (due to branches over hanging) we may need access to their property. Please inform them of what we are up to and when we are going to proceed with the tree work.

Q?

What happens to the stump chippings?

A.

Unless requested, we leave the resultant low mound of stump grindings as these will rapidly rot down.

Q?

Do you take everything away?

A.

Yes! Our quotations include removal of all debris unless otherwise stated. Clients on occasion may choose to keep wood chips for use as garden moults and trunk material for habitat piles or for fire wood.
